□ Project Title : Advanced Module for Surveillance and Traffic Control Cameras
□ Korean Company: LG Electronics
□ Israeli Company: Sightic Vista
□ Project Period: Aug 1st 2006 ~ July 31st 2007(12months)
□ Objective of Project
A major requirement is a movement stabilizer. When a camera is positioned on tall post moving by the wind, or moved by motor for pan-tilt, the resulting motion degrades the video quality, and even more - the scene understanding. The SIP4000 is solving this problem by means of innovative Video Stabilizer and Motion compensated ASLL, which dramatically improve the ability of both human and computerized vision systems to understand the scene.
□ Outcome of the Project
The synergy and cooperation, as proved at the SIP4000 project, have already led to additional development project of more camera models based on the new chip, and the two companies are discussing further joint projects.
□ Cooperation & Benefits
The great synergism and the successful collaboration proved at the SIP4000 project was recognized by the two companies. This has been already led to cooperation in additional development project that was recently kicked-off, to work together for designing few additional camera innovative models, based on the SIP4000 chip. The two companies are considering and discussing some more projects.
